Dave and Darcy Sauer  (Youth Pastor and Wife)

    The Sauer's have been around Cornerstone since February '07 and Dave was hired on staff in June of that same year. His prayer and passion is to see the Youth of Yuba and Sutter counties be transformed into new creations for Christ. We affectionately call him YPD... (Youth Pastor Dave) 

    Darcy, a mother of 5 girls, has made a great connection with the young ladies in the youth group. Her desire to study God's word and her heart to see students fall in love with Jesus is an encouragement to us all. Plus you can always count on a smile from Darcy.

Dave and Julaine Wright  (Uncle Bob and Julaine)  

Dave and Julaine Wright have a passion for Youth Ministry and heart for adventure. In 2008 Dave and Julaine were stretched by God to go to Bucharest, Hungry. They used the gifts and talents that God has blessed them with to bless the students and teachers in Bucharest.

Kathy Wilson  (Leader)

Kathy is relatively new to our Youth Ministry but figured out in a hurry how to fit in. With her 13 year old and 15 year old sons involved, she knows how to relate to teenagers. With her great personality and willing heart, we know God has great things in store for Kathy.

Lisa Weatherly  (Leader)

Lisa has three students in the Youth Group and a fourth that wishes she was. She owns what we affectionately call "Clifford" the big red van. With Clifford by her side she is a regular driver and mom to many of our teens. But whatever you do, don't try to steal her Pepsi.

Dave and Judy Tomm  (Leaders)  

Dave and Judy Tomm are God's gift to the Junior High students. These guys are on fire for Jesus and Junior Highers. They help out with events, Hang Time, the Connection and Compass Groups, what a blessing.

Kathleen Sutton  (Leader)  

Kathleen is one of our Compass Group leaders and Special Event supervisor. Kathleen has worked at church for almost 5 years and is one of the administration support staff. She is a blessing to our church and truly a blessing to Youth Group.

Allan and Aimee Palma  (Leaders)

Allan and Aimee are amazing people with the most humble of hearts. They love to interact with the students and Allan is our worshiping drummer. Make sure when you are going to play some basketball you invite Allan.

Dave and Val Loewen  (Compass Group Leaders)  

Dave and Val Loewen serve in Youth Ministry in the area of small groups. They connect with students on a personal level. Their heart and passion is evident by the way they unconditionally serve the students.

Dennis and Wendy Knottingham  (Leaders)  

Dennis and Wendy have been stretched beyond belief... They have kids in the Youth Group and still volunteer. Do their kids want to be at Youth Group with mom and dad, YES!!! Wendy is our prayer warrior and Dennis is our Elder Statesmen in more ways than one.

Pam Hallford  (Leader)

Pam is an integral part of our Youth Ministry. Pam consistently pours her heart out to the Students at the Maxine Singer Youth Guidance Center. With Pam's vibrant personality and willingness to serve, she is a huge blessing to us.

Brian Godfrey  (Leader/Sound Guy)

Brian is an amazing youth leader for one giant reason, he can yell really, really, really, really, really, really, really, LOUD! He is what we like to call crowd control. God has taken Brian out of his comfort zone and brought into Youth Ministry.

Steve and Vicki Gasperoni  (Leaders)

Steve, a possible retired "cage fighter", has given Hang Time a new meaning. We can always count on Steve throwing the football around with the Junior Highers or embarrassing his own kids. Just don't ask him to arm wrestle.  Vicki Gasperoni Bio coming soon...

Angie Gaspard  (Leader/Drama Team)

Angie is a dedicated mother and a wonderful influence on the girls. We have been blessed to have Angie serving in Youth Ministry the last year or so and her impact has been felt by all. Her husband Troy is pretty cool too.

Ralph Bonham  (Leader)  

Ralph is a leader with an unwavering passion for God's word and students. He pours out his heart with God's truth week in and week and out. We are truly blessed by having Ralph as part of our ministry and know that God is continuing to do great things with him in ministry.
